SPONSOR ME - MilesforMarriage

This is our sponsorship program, “Sponsor Me” so together we can help strengthen families. As an important component of the event, this is designed to provide an opportunity for the people in your life (friends, family, coworkers) to support you in this important cause.

The Process is Very Simple:

1. Register: Go to the giving page. Click here. Choose option #1. Any donation amount over $35 will register you for the event. (Choose “other” for amounts less than $50.)

2. Set an exciting goal: What is your goal? How much do you want to raise? (ex. $500, $1000) Most people will sponsor you at $50 or $100 ($10 or $20 per kilometer).

3. Invite List: Make a list of people you would like to invite to sponsor you. Use form here.

4. Send Invitations: Email or Call. Click here for sample email you can cut and paste.

5. Get your Facebook friends involved: Copy and paste this link on your FB post. https://bit.ly/sponsor-athlete - Then ask people to sponsor you in this important cause.

6. Follow Up: Very important to send follow up emails/calls. They will appreciate a reminder.

That’s it! Your email will direct them to the website explaining the “Sponsor Me” program and lead them to the giving page where they will list your name. You will receive an email letting you know who is supporting you! Thank you so much for your support! - Bill & Tonda
